I am no a big patriot or have I done something big for the country, but as a citizen of India I do have the rights to express and raise my voice and that’s what this Independence has given us. Well, many of you might ask, are we really independent, aren’t we suppressed when we raise our voice etc… Well, we have the freedom from Britishers but yet to get freedom from our own Country men and from various social issues prevailing in the country even after 64 years of Independence. So, wishing everyone a very happy independence day, I would like to share a joke with all of you:

“There was an atheist who was also a foreigner, visited India and when he went back to his country his friend found him praying in a church and was quite surprised by this change and asked him how come he started believing in God, for which the foreigner replied that he had visited India and is now convinced that there definitely is a super natural power running the country”. While this sounds quite humorous, but this is true to the core. Sometimes even I wonder who is running the country as the ones whom we have elected are really busy in filling up their pockets.

Indians have a very common attitude (Yes, I have seen that even in common man) of blaming others for their own mistakes and how can the so-called politicians and system be different? You go for lodging a complaint and you will find every person pointing finger to the other person and finally it’s a circle which never ends and at the end, nothing is resolved and as usual we say “Sab chalta hai” and move on with life. This is because we have started accepting the system as it is and only crib everyday for a bad system. This is comparatively bad when we consider smaller countries like China, Japan, Singapore and other developing nations which have really good system and infrastructure to support the common man. Here you don’t have even the smallest need being met and we the people have just accepted the fact that nothing can really change here.

Now, moving towards the constitution and law, I strongly feel that we are still run by an old constitution and our law needs to be revised. I am sure many of you might have seen the cartoon of Kasab (I am sure he needs no introduction here) being given full security and the common man left deserted during many of the bomb blasts and I wonder if we really need to give so much protection and spend so much money on a terrorist who didn’t think about killing hundreds of people in a shot? Every one of us asks this question of why he has not been given the punishment he deserves, but then our so-called “LAW” doesn’t permit us to do so… Like how we change the syllabus in college according to the new trends isn’t it necessary to revise an old law which is now 60 years old? There are still thousands of pending cases and many innocents are striving to get back to the free world but are in vain and all that is because of the bad old law. And the constitution which was designed for the betterment of India then is being used even now especially when we (at least the younger generation) have crossed all barriers of caste and creed. By these reservation policies, we are only trying to divide India more than to unite it when we actually need this unity now. I wonder when we are going to get rid of this old constitution, policies and law.

Now days I have actually stopped believing in myself because I really don’t know whom to believe and whom not to. There are people coming forward to help us get rid of many issues in the country, but at times I wonder are they genuine and do they really have a strong motive?? Yes, there is a handful of people who are working to change this system, but then there are also people who in the name of changing the system are waiting to get prominence. So, whom are we going to trust?? If we plan to change this government once the tenure ends, how sure are we that the coming government would satisfy all our needs and improve on the basic system? There are still many issues that are unaddressed and wonder if it would ever be because it’s not just about blaming the system, but also us for accepting the system!!!

Having said all that, I would like to say – We are and we would always be proud of being an Indian as this is the only place where culture, heritage and emotions are given more importance, where we come together at the time of need despite our diverse culture and religion and we cannot deny that we are the biggest Secular country in the world.

“Long Live India”– Lets always live together as ONE and lets pray that we get to eradicate all the social issues, corruption and make this country a better place to live in.

My name is Miss Mary kone, the only daughter of my late parents Mr.and Mrs kone. My father was a highly reputable busnness magnet-(a cocoa merchant) who operated in the capital of Ivory coast during his days. It is sad to say that he passed away mysteriously in France during one of his business trips abroad on 12th.November 2006.Though his sudden death was linked or rather suspected to have been masterminded by an uncle of his who travelled with him at that time, but God knows the truth!

Though I have not meet with you before but I believe, one has to risk confiding in succeed sometimes in life. There is this huge amount of four million five hundred thousand U.S dollars ($4.5m) which my late Father Mr.bone kone, kept for me in one trunk box in a Security Company here in my country. My father told me that I should not let any of our relations to know about this money because he was kiled by them and if they know about it, that they will do nothing but to kill me in other to take hold of every thing, He told me that I should seek for a foriegn partner abroad who will help me transfer this money to his or her account in abroad and also travel with him or her in other to continue my Life and Education and also to start a Bussines relationship with the person whom can take care of me in the future

I am just a university undergraduate and really don’t know what to do. this is because I have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of incessant political crisis here in Ivory coast. The death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life, My dear, I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance in this regards and your suggestions and ideas will be highly regarded.

Now permit me to ask these few questions:

1. Can I completely trust you?
2.Can you accept me as your own blood Sister (Or Daughter)?
3.What percentage of the total amount in question will be good for you?

Consider this and get back to me as soon as possible with your full assurance that you will not disapoint me in this issue so that i can give you the contact of the Security Company where my late Father deposited the box for you to contact them to retrieve the box and transfer it to you in your country,

Terror strikes again!!

Today again there was a bomb blast in Delhi!! Just a fortnight before the terrorists attacked the capital killing many lives, few children became an orphan, mothers lost their children, brothers lost their sister and so on… Upon all this, Delhi lost its most trusted and brave office.. Again today, there was a low intensity blast in a market killing an innocent child of 10 year old..

Three months and four blasts – Where are we heading to??? After every terrorist attack, there is always a committee formed which only keeps planning while no action taken.. But the question is – Dont these terrorists have a heart of their own?? Today a kid who picked up the packet inorder to help the motor cyclists, lost his life.. What was the fault of this kid?? The kid had not even gotten to know who are terrorists while they took away his life.. The intelligence department gets the blamed for being ignorant, the crime branch is pointed finger for being incapable.. India blames ISI for their hand in the blasts.. But hold on, within 2 days of a blast in India, you can get the news of blast in Pakistan as well.. We keep blaming each other instead of taking some action.. The time is not far when we will get the news of a blast every other day.. The two countries need to sit together for some solution and whenever there is a talk, the only issue which pops up is the Kashmir issue and rest of the talk goes in vain.. It is high time we start taking some decisions before it is too late…
